Restor-A-Finish, by Howard, is very easy to use and incredibly does not require the original surface to be striped before use. Simply put a little Restor-A-Finish on a soft cloth in the colour of your choice and wipe over the piece to blend out scratches, blemishes and white heat rings. For very damaged surfaces, wipe on using steal wool and then wipe off with a soft cloth.
After getting rid of scratches, protect your new finish by sealing with Howard Feed-N-Wax, which contains pure beeswax, durable carnauba wax and orange oil. Orange oil has a subtle zesty fragrance and replenishes the natural oils found in timber.
We love working with timber cutting boards in the kitchen and we use Howard products to rejuvenate the timber and prevent cracking. Both the waxed based Howard Conditioner and Cutting Board Oil exceed the requirements for direct and indirect contact with food, making them safe to use around food. These products can also be used on bamboo, wooden toys and kitchen utensils.
